My family loves mini-golf, & Pirates Cove is a mini-golfer's paradise, offering five different courses with 90 holes.
Landscape and location were neat, with lavish greens, streams, and 17 waterfalls throughout the area, all situated on a hill overlooking the Wisconsin River and the city area. With the humidity high for June, we chose to try night golfing. The course was very well-lit and really fun to play at night. Everything was very well-kept--no ripped "greens" or debris that we could see. The course wasn't crowded, either, so we had time to goof around and have fun... What a great family activity! We have 5 different, 18-hole courses with over 90 championship holes. 1. Blackbeard's 18 (Easiest) - Go over the large waterfall at the highest point.
2. Captain Kidd's 18 (Second Easiest) - Go through a cave beneath the large waterfall. Not just for kids, everyone's welcomed!
3. Pirate's Lookout 18 (Medium & Scenic) - Wind around the waterfall on the top all of the time. Beautiful view of the Wisconsin river.
4. Pirate's Challenge 18 (Most Challenging) - Start next to the historic sundial and cross the bridge at the top of the hill.
5. Captain Hook's 19 (Second Most Challenging) - This is the newest of our courses and is also Handicap Accessible In the lower ticket booth, we have an arcade where people of all ages can try their luck at winning a prize. Pack a lunch and enjoy our FREE playland and picnic area, with multiple shelters. While you are here remember to visit Pirates Haven/Captain Scoopy's Ice Cream and Candy Store and Aunt Jenny's Got It All Store. The Details : Groups of TEN or more qualify for the special discounted rates. For every ten paid people, one person will play free. The vehicle driver(s) will also be allowed complimentary admissions, if they wish to play.
